Local Market Development (LMD)

Based on this paper we are developing a step-by-step manual, also in the wiki format, called Value Chain Development

 

Early 2006 Joost de la Rive Box, as an interim Thematic specialist for Local Market development in Africa, formulated a number of questions for policy discussions. These questions could be regarded as central learning themes for the ICCO Alliance and its partners. Therefore, we reproduce his suggestions on the wiki "Policy Issues in Local Market Development"  (in Dutch, for the moment)

 

On October 4, 2007, Dr. Lucian Peppelenbos presented his research on 19 cases of local market development in Africa.
