Welcome to the ICCO wiki on value chain development
ICCO/Kerkinactie is strongly dedicated to fighting injustice and poverty. It has three main programmes to do so, namely Access to Basic Services, Democracy and Peace Building and Sustainable and Fair Economic Development (SFED)
With in the SFED programme ICCO/Kerkinactie works on improving access to international markets, financial services, partnerships with the Dutch private sector, the climate programme and local market development (LMD).
Value chain development is a central concept in the SFED programme. This wiki aims at contributing to the development of a clear vision and strategy towards this value chain development. This wiki is based on a document written by Andre Vording (ICCO programme specialist on local market development) on the ICCO strategy for value chain development
